we are retired Australians travelling the world, we have stayed in around 40 hotels this year alone. This El Establo was the worst place we have stayed. We stayed at this establsihment for the sole purpose of horseback riding and what an adventure it was! The rooms, perched on a hill, were clean, newly renovated (they are still working on it), and very cozy. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were very clean with warm showers.
