Husband and I stayed here for a friends wedding. Despite the snowy weather we made it to the B&B. Great service a lovely family happy to help felt very welcome, was offered vegetarian breakfast also great breakfast. Easy to venture in the local areas to see local history. It is in a beautiful quiet tranquil location amid wildlife and beautiful... More

Excellent in all respects. Beautiful view over the lake and the countryside; large and comfortable room and a very good breakfast. The farmhouse is set amongst the ruins of Merevale Abbey, where Henry VII stayed before the Battle of Bosworth, and the experience for us was both peaceful and welcoming. Much recommended.

I loved Abbey Farm, and i was sad to only be there for one night. It is such a peaceful, relaxing place, and everyone who lives at Abbey farm treats you like one of the family, even the dog! My room was huge, spotlessly clean and with a lovely view. There was a great breakfast as well! I highly recommend... More

An excellent B and B, in a marvellous location. Very large bedroom, and a comfortable bed. View over the lake to Merrivale Hall. Church to one side of the building, and ancient abbey walls on the other. Henry V11 stayed in the Abbey, prior to being the victor at the Battle of Bosworth the following day. If he was as... More

As newlyweds we were made to feel welcome on our special night. When entering the room I was astounded at the quality. Jenny had set out our champagne and had scattered rose petals on the bed, provided lovely fluffy white towels, items to make hot drinks. I wanted to stay there and never leave! The bed was incredibly comfy and... More

We stayed at Abbey Farm after a visit to the Bosworth Battlefield Centre, which for me as a member of the Richard III Society was a must. Abbey Farm had come highly recommended by a Society member from Canada – and we were not disappointed! The owner, Jenny, made us feel more than welcome and showed us to our cosy... More

I stayed at Abbey Farm on a business trip and was amazed at the setting and quality of the accommodation. Comfortable beds, lovely views and good breakfast. The welcome I received was very friendly and we were invited to explore the building and the gardens (which include ruins related to the nearby Abbey). We were even told if we ran... More

Lovely friendly and homely. Stayed for 2 nights in a very large room with kingsize bed. Breakfast was lovely and well cooked. Grounds have some great views and would have liked to have explored the ruins in the garden but weather was bad, hopefully next time we stay weather will be better.

Stayed for two nights, two couples, over a weekend. Farmhouse easy to find from Atherstone, friendly greeting from Jen when we got there. We had the large room overlooking the lake which was beautiful, and our friends had the family room at the side of the hiuse, whic was large and clean but plainer. We were both happy with the...
