Secrets on the Lake is nestled in the Sunshine Coast's lush hinterland on 45 acres of rainforest and right on the shores of Lake Baroon. There are ten tree houses Waterlilies, Two Frogs, Possums, The Bower, Lizards Lair Wait A While, Platypus, Dragonfly, The Nest & last but not least Secrets. Each cabin is only accessed by a hand carved elevated treetop walkway, lit at night by handmade pottery lamps. They are meticulously appointed and individually themed from a different element of nature and feature extensive ceramic, iron and woodwork. Greeted by the friendliest host "George" and taken down to the most beautiful tree house, named "The Bower" (each tree house has a name) the whole stay was completely private. Had a top view onto the lake through the trees, the best thing to wake up to! Beautiful part of the world, with lovely touches like fresh muffins every morning... More

“Should have stayed longer!”

Secrets on the lake in Montville is the perfect hideaway for couples who would like to enjoy some privacy. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and realized that we should have stayed much longer. This property is so well looked after, the accommodation is planned and crafted with love and attention to detail. We loved it!!
