Stayed in this Hotel last Sept. Impressive building on lakeside. Quite a nice hotel generally but I would question the 5 star rating. I have stated here 3 times in total but the last time was disapointing as I was on the second floor underneath the swimming pool. Between two long flights the Chateau du Lac offered a perfect relaxing break. The food, the spa and the room were all of outstanding quality. It is far away from Brussels, yes, but this is exactly what I was looking for: enjoy a calm place, use the spa, walk on the lake, relax. Expensive, but worth it More

Nice view on the lake of Genval. Bedroom average, bathroom not renewed, very noisy bedroom (1st floor) alla long the night. I've stayed at te Chateaud du Lac for a business meeting at the beginning of February and found what probably will become my favourite location for meetings around Brussels. Friendly environment, good meeting rooms, nice view of the lake, very quiet, service in line with expectations for this level of hotels. Noticeable the gym club: very well equipped!! More

Well somebody should really adjust the rating of this hotel. Heating turned off in our room, it took 8 hours to get it to normal. The bathroom has seen probably world war 2, [--] shampoo and shower gel. The well rated breakfast was average, cold eggs, orange juice from the box and even american hotels have better coffee.
