Stayed at this b & b for a few days, whilst on a short break. Fantastic location, great food and fab staff. The property was clean and comfortable, and the young owner made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended .

Enjoyed a night here sitting by the fireplace the stove was roaring! Great locals bar, no pretentions. Food was better than normal pub grub. Lots of TV's scattered around se we enjoyed watching England stuff the All Blacks! Our dog was welcomed in and they kindly brought her some water. We will be back as we love Corbridge but we...

We stayed elsewhere (hence the room score), but enjoyed the local atmosphere and fun of the pub quiz at the Golden Lion. The beer and company were good - what more can you ask for?

Glad to see nothing has changed. This is a pub remember and should be enjoyed as such.Rooms are very comfortable and considering where it is still great value.Breakfast is very informal and all the better for it.All adds to the friendliness of the place. The owner/manager is a very amiable chap.
Myself and 2 friends had decided to spend a couple of days over in Corbridge to visit the Tynedale Beer Festival and have a few rounds of golf. I had stayed at the Golden Lion 2 years ago and knew the rooms were good. They had not changed. They are clean, ideally furnished for the size of room and competitively...

I am travelling for work a lot at present. I had occasion to visit this place for one night recently. I was travelling with two colleagues.
Checking in was easy, over the bar downstairs. We were guided to our rooms. Each was different. This is not a "Stepford" B&B.
My room, with coffee/tea and terrestrial channels was clean, quite spacious...
