Don't let the location put you off - it's not acutally on the N2 - the lodge is tucked away, off a gravel drive and set in lovely grounds. If you want something special along the Garden Route we can certainly recommend Laird's Lodge. The reception you get from the staff will give you the feeling that this is going to be a great place to stay. You can go out for meals, however, try them here and you will not be disappointed with the meal and convivial company... More

This is top quality accommodation, with friendly hosts and helpful staff. Although Plettenberg is readily accessible for restaurants, we dined at the lodge on each evening of our three night stay and didn't regret it. I have no hesitation in recommending.
