We thorughy enjoyed our trip to Casa Rubes and Patti. The B&B is comfortable and the very pleasant grounds match the rooms and the host and hostess. Max was particularly helpful and went out of his way to assist us with a number of things, including looking up our ancestors.

The B&B Casa Rubes is located in the Patti center, not far from the sea, in one of the most important main houses of 19th century, culturally vivacious abode that enumerated among its regular guests, Salvatore Quasimodo, poet, Nobel prize for Literature in 1959. The house preserves a lot of traces of the poet, given the long friendship of Quasimodo with the previous owner, the jurist Raffaele Saggio. Wide areas both inside and outside and a serene and suggestive atmosphere welcome the guests in every season.
