This hotel was great, the room we had was not massive but all we needed to have a sleep and change in. Close to train station and could get around the whole area easily. Very close to good combinis and akihabara (10min walk) downside was the breakfast, its 900 yen less than £5 but its very basic. If your worried about japanese food this hotel is close to major international brands like mcds, kfc and dominos all within walking distance. Or get uber eats. Cons room was small so not much room with 2 suitcases and 2 carry on luggage cases. But bed is quite high so they slide under but still not loads of room. Apart from that i would recommend this hotel

We had to change rooms since the room they gave us both stank and had AC problems (#505). We got #205 which was fine only the corridor had a dank smell. The X05s are king beds and have a weird layout so feel very cramped. The twin room is much better laid out and the 2 twin beds together are pretty much the same size as the king. On the plus size: very easy walk to 3 (!) metro stations, plenty of restaurants frequented by locals in the area (although avoid the 1899 cafe - they are not hospitable). The breakfast is very good (we chose the rate including breakfast) and western style. They have nice cookies/cream tarts in the afternoon. There is a large table next to the reception with outlets if you need to work on your laptop for a while. One last thing: the AC’s on/off button above the bed acts as a very strong night-light, strange but you get used to it.…

Room Tip:Take the twin room rather than the king room. It’s cheaper and a better layout.

Amazing hotel! Lovely staff, perfect room and bathroom, clean and modern. Complimentary coffee and amenities throughout your stay. Location is excellent for metro access to get around Tokyo easy. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Japan and we would 100% return to this hotel!

we recently stayed (may 23) at the b ochanomizu hotel in chyoda city (kanda, awajicho area) of tokyo japan. i would just like to say that the hotel was perfect, it was clean (they came to do somthing nearly every day) , the room was great small but big enough for what we needed as we were not in much. the staff were excellant if we needed anything or any information they sorted it straight away. it was perfecly located for the subway just 25mtrs away from the maranouchi line which went to every location in tokyo and the main tokyo train station for the shinkansen. i would give the b ochanomizu 5 star rating

The hotel was very small but cheap. It had all the basic amenities you'd need in a hotel room like hair dryer, toiletries, and pajamas. They don't clean rooms and make beds every day. However, they still change the towels and pajamas, replenish toiletries, and take out your trash. Probably, my favorite thing about this hotel is its location. It's a 1- or 2-minute walk from the nearest train station, and there's also a nearby convenience store.

We've stayed here twice now. Like most Tokyo hotels, the rooms are small but have everything you need. The location is fantastic with subway access a few minutes away plus access to JR lines in a ten minute walk. Recommended for couples.

This budget hotel is located within a 5 minute walk (exit A5) from the Awajicho Station on Marunouchi line which is the most direct line from Tokyo. Tully’s coffee shop is visible at street level. If you walk down that alley and turn left at the next intersection the hotel is visible. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Check in is normally at 3pm but you can leave your bags or wait at the reception area where there is free tea and coffee. Free wifi is secure and quite fast. The room is compact, very clean and there are nightgowns and slippers, a kettle to have a hot drink and bathroom accessories if needed. A laundry is available on the 9th floor. We tend to leave the window open for fresh air but you will hear the outside noise if you are a light sleeper. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the popular Akihabara area known as ‘electric city’. There are lots of good coffee shops in the area and local restaurants but as you are not in the middle of Tokyo, English menus are generally not available however meals are cheaper. There are also many 7-11’s and Family Mart stores where you can sit and eat, if you want a convenience meal.…

This is a little hidden gem in Ochanomizu near Akihabara. The free breakfast was okay. I wouldn't eat it if it wasn't included in the price of my room, but it was decent. I liked the lounge area where we had breakfast every morning. It was a nice size and the staff was super nice and friendly. In fact, the best part about my stay was the hotel staff. Everyone was just very nice and accommodating, always smiling and wishing me a good day. The room was comfortable enough for one person, maybe two if you're close, and the bathroom was a nice size, but the room itself was super tiny. Everything was clean, though, and well-maintained. The amenities were plenty and well-stocked and the tub/shower was a nice comfortable size. I also really liked the location as it was very close to the subway so I could have easy access to transportation when I needed it. The room also came with a small refrigerator so I was able to buy food and drinks to keep cold, which was very convenient. As I said, the breakfast could have been better but the coffee was awful. Probably the worst coffee I've ever had at a hotel and I've stayed in hostels. I was also disappointed that they didn't offer an airport pick-up service or drop-off service. But probably the worst thing about this place was the free wifi. It was terrible. It kept disconnecting and randomly and even when it was connected, the speed was mediocre at best. All in all, I would probably stay at this place again when I visit Tokyo again but I really hope they improve their wifi situation because other than that, it would have been a nearly perfect stay.…

Comfortable, small, western-style room. Excellent service (they thoughtfully placed our stored luggage in our room even before we checked in). Older hotel; Not quite as nice as the brand new B in Asakusa.

A/C is loud but not efficient. One non-working teapot was replaced by another non-working teapot, which was finally replaced with one in working order. The plumbing works fine but the it leaves a lingering smell of sewage. The cleaner threw away one of the sandal (which was found later). Slow Wifi. No wonder it was priced a bit cheaper than other similar properties. Otherwise, the sheets are clean and the room was quiet. The people were nice, too. But really, Tokyo is full of these "business hotels" so will I stay here again? The answer is clear enough.
