I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights - if you can get over the fact that it feels a bit like Las Vegas (huge hotel, easy to get lost), than it's a great place to stay. The shops and restaurants downstairs have reasonable prices, the rooms are great and the beds are comfortable and most of the rooms have... More

I have stayed here a lot over the years. It is a quality hotel and in a good area to get out and about and enjoy Tokyo. Rooms in the main building have been refurbished in recent years, they needed it, and the results are very good. They are large, comfortable and well equipped and the bathrooms are good. When... Big, expensive, clean hotel in the middle of central Tokyo. We stayed in the Garden Tower and are really satisfied. Chosed the hotel because of a special price 40% discount if you stay 4 nights and we don´t regret. Very close to the subway and a nice street with several restaurants. The room was very big and with three windows.... More

The hotel is grand and old school, with beautiful garden between the two towers. Rooms are basic though. And wifi only works in the lobby which is a little inconvenient. Location is convenient as it is near a few subway lines which makes traveling easy in the city. More

We booked this hotel because finding hotel rooms to accommodate 2 young children is tricky in Japan. the website we used allowed us to book one room for 2 adults and 2 children. It had 2 single beds. First the man at the desk said it was OK for us then he agreed to put in one extra bed for... More

The Garden is beautiful and the lobby is large and full of amenities. I stayed in the Garden Tower in a standard king room. The room was a very nice size. My only complaint is the windows look like port holes in a ship. Overall, the bed was decent and furniture was nice. I found the staff very attentive and... More

Had a really nice stay at the Hotel New Otani, Tokyo. The room was quite large for Tokyo standards (note: very small for just about every other city in the world). Service was impeccable. I was surprised at how quiet it was not just in our room but in the surrounding neighborhood. Subway was about a 5 minute walk, so... More

Stayed many times in the Garden Tower. Larger non smoking rooms are fine,View to Shinjuku is nice. Restaurants expensive, but plenty of local alternatives. Fitness cente is dismal, but full gym is expensive. Very busy with local families and groups on weekend. Week days ae dominated by foreign guests No wifi in rooms, only wired, however wifi is available in... More

I agree that the hotel is getting older and that the rooms are on the smaller side, especially for Western tourists. For Tokyo though the rooms are quite spacious. Being a prestigious hotel, the staff are really attentive and alert. The restaurants also serve very good food, although very pricey. The downside is that being a large hotel, there are... More

The hotel is an old luxury hotel and the rooms are starting to show this. However, staying at the hotel you get the feeling that they still think they are the leading hotel in Tokyo. On top of their already hefty room rates (even for Tokyo standards), you will have to pay extra for a lot of things other hotels... More
