I gave it a poor rating as it's expensive for you get. We also stayed at the Mitsui Garden at Gotanda one the next stop of the JR line with was much cheaper and much nicer. It may be because we only booked about a week before we went, so a better price would rate it average. The room is vey basic and compact. No wardrobe at all, only 4 hangers on hooks against the wall. TV had local channels only. No water in the fridge. Paper, through away room cards (not a bad idea I guess as long as you don't damage them as you need one for the lift. Only 200 yards from the station which helped. Shower was fine, as was a/c.

I am not the neediest person when it gets to hotels. I give you money, you give me a clean, somehwat comfortable room. I ask for nothing more. Super simple, right? to be fair, this hotel is a bang for buck. somewhat cheap, with still being close to meguro station and having markets and restaurants in close proximity. but: keep in mind, that you won't get that much for your money. - no pool - no gym - breakfast not included (1000 ¥) - daily, very high parking fees still this hotel has failed me. i have now spent 2 nearly sleepless nights here, because the AC is not really working and there is no possible way to open the window. i mean if it was nearly 40° C outside, i would understand, that you would need a really powerful AC to cool a room. but this room's temperature nearly doubles the temperature outside. please. just let me open the window. when confronting the staff about this they just stare me in the eyes and tell me they cannot do anything for me. thanks! the first night, we had another somewhat identical room a few doors further - but working AC, yay! the hotel somehow gave us a wrong key and forced us to move a few rooms further down the hall into the room described above. worst of all: it was a DIRTY .... used beds, dirty towels, trash. nobody of the staff cared. "sorry, we cannot help you" - running gag? how about you give us back some of our money? or upgrade us? or give us FREE breakfast, instead of charging 1000 yen for poor food, that gave a few of us diarrhea? the rugs and walls have undefinable spot marks, occassionally you are able to smell mold as you enter a room and I even stumbled across a pile of puke while trying to wash my clothes. all in all i cannot recommend this place in any matter. better invest a few yen more and save yourself some stressful times.

Another very standard Japanese business hotel. A small room with a small bathroom but that's the reality of Tokyo unless you're ready to pay more. The best part of this hotel is close enough to the JR Meguro Station which was very convenient for me to visit our clients based elsewhere in Tokyo. Meguro is one of the Yamanote Line stations so easy access to the Tokyo Station to catch a Shinkansen, or get to Shibuya for shopping. My main business events were happening in Roppongi, so it was easy to get there too - just a few stations away. I would gladly stay in this hotel again...if it's just for business purposes. Not romantic, but ticks all boxes you need for business trip. A Starbucks and a convenience store on the ground level.

Located in a not upmarket area of Shibuya. Though lots of small restaurants around. Convenient to have a metro station close by as well as convenience stores. The hotel was impersonal. The 'deal' I had was without breakfast. I booked at the last minute and got a 'double' room for the use of one person. Still it was very compact. Language was an issue. I booked the hotel online though Agoda. After I confirmed the booking a service charge was added which annoyed me. My departure was early morning. The man at the reception (who had been up all night on duty) came downstairs, hailed a cab for me, gave instructions to the driver in Japanese and waved me good bye. (Thank you very much.) That was the only positive experience I had at the hotel. I do not think the hotel was worth the price - even though it was meant to be a special deal.

The hotel is just 2 minutes from JR. Meguro station and this station is also MRT. This is the budget hotel, Japanese Hotel size which is not so big but with the affordable price I would definitely recommended! PS. The hotel is surrounded with the restaurant and close to Starbuck and Supermarket.

If suppose to stay like me, one week for a business trip, you have to considering that there is not a wardrobe!!! I can understand that in Tokyo middle price hotel the space is not enough, but at least the wardrobe is the minimum thing you have to find.

I was recommended to book this hotel through a friend who lives in Tokyo. The hotel is a few mins walk from Meguro station and is extremely convenient to get to all the tourist places. I wanted a hotel that was still central but not too central so that it would cost me a fortune to stay in; although all hotels in Tokyo are expensive, I found this one to be value for money in terms of location, comfort and size (hotel rooms are generally small but with this one it was also enough to fit suitcases and shopping bags and still have a table/chair/tv, contrary to reviews on some other hotels). There are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby, both western and local Japanese food. It is however not a noisy area/street. Apparently this is a rather trendy area of Tokyo to live in.

Hotel Mid is a terrific base for a stay in Tokyo. The rooms are diminutive but that does not matter. The hotel staff are friendly, the rooms spotless and the breakfasts cheap and excellent. It is only 2 minutes' walk from Meguro Station on the Yamanote Line. it is reasonably priced.

We stayed here for a week. It was for business and family trip. The room is small but good enough to spend the night. Close to Meguro station so it helps a lot to travel around. The service is good. The hotel also serves breakfast for 330 Yen. If you are planning for a short stay for a business trip or for couple who plan to stay and travel most of the time , I would suggest this hotel. Please note that the room size is small and 2 people need to adjust here.

Stayed for 2 nights. Just a 5 minutes down the road hotel. Simple but functional, has at least space enough to open a big sized suitcase. Basic amenities(toiletries and tea bags with a kettle). In room Wi-fi ok. Bed was comfy for me. Didn't try the breakfast but there is a Starbucks on the ground floor (with free Wi-fi) and many other places around that you can eat. It is a quiet location despite being located in a busy road, no outside noise in the room felt. The check in at 3PM is a minus, not that you can not check in before, just that they will charge you around 1200 yen/ hour if you want to check in earlier.
