I stayed one week at this hotel when travelling to Tokyo with a friend. We reserved the twin room, and we were given a nice one on the third floor (304). The room was great, large windows, brand new furniture, flat screen TV, confortable beds and a great kitchen corner that allowed us to make our breakfast every morning before... More

2 nites at start & another 2 nites at end of our Japan trip. 15-20 minute easy, level walk from Shinjuku station. Nice clean, comfortable room and VERY helpful staff with excellent English. The small kitchen was great for making your own breakfast and there were also great little eatieries nearby. We were there in the cherry blossom season and... More

We (I along with my wife and 11 year old son) stayed there for 4 nights and found the place very homely (they have a small kitchennete in the room) and enjoyed the stay. The staff was also very responsive. It is about 10 mins walk from Shinjuku station (4 metro lines + JR) overall a good experience.

While perhaps this compares well to other hotels in the Shinjuku neighbourhood, our experience is a bit biased by previously staying at the much nicer Citadines Kyoto. For the same room rate, the lobby was far less inviting, the rooms more cramped and less well designed. The air conditioner was very noisy (which they say is the case in all... More

The Citadines is a well-located functional hotel. The rooms are well equipped with umpteen tv channels, super fast wired & wifi Internet and make the most out of the space available. The kitchens are not equipped for culinary experimentation but served us perfectly well to make breakfast and the odd snack. As with most of Tokyo, there are lots of... More

The rooms were the biggest we came across in Japan, with a couch area, as well as kitchenette and the bed area. We also found some English TV channels, which apart from News hadn't been able to find our whole stay. The other great thing was the free wi-fi in the room which made it really easy to plan our... We booked here on the strength of other reviews and due to the hotel's popularity had to change to another room and then back to the first room over our 12-day trip. This was not a problem and the staff moved the bags to our new room both times. The staff were very friendly, spoke good English and were very... More

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights from 1st May 2013. We shared a studio apartment between 4 of us - me, my husband and 2 kids (12 yrs & 8yrs). Though the studio is very compact they made up a sofa bed for the kids which was quite comfy. The kitchenette with refrigerator (mini) and microwave etc is... More

We stayed at the Citadines for 5 nights in mid April. We found the location great - close enough to central Shinjuku but on the out skirts enough to feel like you could get away from it if needed. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. We found the Skinjuku Gyoenmae stop on the second daywhich was ideal with travel... More

We stayed here between April 29 and May 4 and all in all, I have to say it's well worth the money. Location: It is close to main Shinjuku Station, about 10-15 minutes easy walk and then there is the Shinjuku Gyoenmae station close by, a 5 minutes’ walk. The area is safe, as is most of the Tokyo, lots... More
