The Keio Plaza Hotel is a large, high rise hotel located in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. The hotel is conveniently located via covered walkway to the Shinjuku train station (5 min walk). The tower room I stayed in was dated but equipped with wired LAN that was very fast. Spotty, free wireless Internet could be found in the center... More

We usually stay at New Otani, but this time we found a great deal through a HK travel agent and decided to try the Keio. We were not disappointed. Like the New Otani, Keio is one of the older large Tokyo hotels and has the whole full service approach. We booked a business club floor deluxe room because the rooms... More

I stayed at the Keio Plaza for a conference and found the hotel very comfortable. Rooms were quite large by Japanese standards. As my room was paid for by a third party I can't comment on value. The hotel is in a relatively quiet street on the opposite side of Shinjuku station from the very lively and interesting entertainment area... More

The first time I stayed at Keio Plaza Shinjuku was some 22 years ago. Last time I stayed was a few days before 311 Tsunami last year. I am glad that it has recovered since then. I stayed this year during the golden week so it is kind of busy. There has been some comment that air conditioning is not... More

I have stayed this hotel during JPN golden week, here is my impressive things:- 1. Good service from hotel staff Most staff can speak good English, only some porter is rarely speak but able to understand. 2. Good location for transportation and shopping areas Easy to access major train stations: Metro subway (Shinjuku station), Odakyu line & JR train only... More

The size of the room is large for Japan from what I've experienced however, if only two of us were staying in it, it would have been comfortable but for three, with the addition of a rollaway, space was tight. The beds were comfortable. If you need to make local phone calls, beware, they are pricey. It was quite shocking... More

This place is huge, probably the size of a Vegas strip hotel, and about 50 floors high. We got a great deal for this hotel about 150 USD, and stayed 5 nights in a Plaza BIZ Plus room, which was perfect. The room was in very good shape, not very large though, about 21 m2, but the very large windows... More

I have stayed at Keio Plaza in 2 occassions (2010 and 2012). Here's a summary of my thoughts: Pro: - huge room, the room is huge even for North American standard not to mention Tokyo - staff speaks English very well - has airport limo bus available right in front of hotel - very clean room Con: - it's really... My first stay in Tokyo and was recommened the Keio by local colleagues. Whilst it could do with a spruce up and has smaller rooms it's location and variety of dining options make it a very attractive option when in Tokyo. It's a short walk to Shinjuku station and the many, many dining options. It's also directly opposite the Tokyo... More

This is the second time we stayed at the Keio Plaza Tokyo. The last time we travelled to Tokyo was in 2008 and on returning this year, we chose Keio again for a 3 night stay primarily for its convenient location. Perhaps unsurprisingly, we didn't notice any changes or refurbishments to the hotel since our 2008 visit. Travelling with a... More
