Stayed 4 nights at this little sweet ryokan. Rooms were abit small but clean . Its a first time for my husband who is an italian to experience sleeping on a futon on the tatami and he loved it. Its so convenient as there are so many Attractions like temples and great gate , river cruise and Asakusa is just... More

I have visited this ryokan several times in the past (last time was four years ago), but this time, I was a little disappointed. The location is great (but Asakusa is not super-convenient if you have to go to Narita afterwards, especially if you have heavy luggage. Lots of changes and hassle!). The ryokan has a lot of charm. The... More

nice hotel convenient location, just 7 mins walk from Asakusa station. Rooms ok though a bit of traffic noise and people talking and walking on the street below late at night and early in the morning which woke me. Staff was good and friendly except for an elderly gentleman (owner I guess) who was a bit military style. If you... More

the location near the Sensoji temple is great, very handy for the tube as well. the room was very clean and the staff was very very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it! There were no bedbugs at all by the way! Family bath on the top floor is very nice and has a stunning view! More

We stayed here for three nights in March. The rooms were decent and standard-sized for Tokyo, with typically tiny ryokan bathrooms. They really need to add wifi to the rooms, but instead have an old wired laptop in the lobby for the guests to fight over. Breakfast was very good however, and the location was excellent. The staff was mostly... More

Stayed over at the ryokan for 3 days in early April. The ryokan in well located in Asakusa, right next to busy street from kiminarimon and leading right up the sensoji. You can load up on precious Japanese crafts and trinkets at kiminarimon while feeling your stomach with delicious mochi. At the same time, you can pay your respects at... More

This is a pleasant and well-run ryokan in the heart of Asakusa, about one minute from the temple and just a couple from the metro. My Japanese-style room was spotless and certainly did not suffer from bedbugs, and there was a private bathroom as well as the lovely public bath on the top floor. Staff are very friendly and the... This was my second time staying here and I really like the traditional rooms with the futons and tatami mats. Very comfy! The Japanese breakfast is also superb--very good value and quality. In general, the staff is very helpful, and the location near Sensoji Temple is really great, especially around New Year, when there is a lot going on. I... More

This is a typical ryokan (Japanese Inn) with tatami floors and futons and communal baths on the top floor. They do have western rooms too. It is very close to Senso-Ji temple and surrounded by Asakusa centre with shops selling traditional products and plenty of restaurants. It is close to subway stations. The place is spotless if wearing slightly and... More

I stayed for 6 nights in a western style single room and I can't complain about anything. The cleanliness is not perfect but still good. The whole Hotel is a bit worn by a lot of guests that stayed there. The service is very friendly and they try to help you as good as they can but since the staff... More
