Zubieta is a most charming little hotel half way between Bilbao and San Sebastian. Their superior rooms are so nicely decorated you feel better than at home. I haven't learned the history of this hotel yet, but it is well located at the edge of town. It is extremely quiet. It is like an old hacienda. The help are very friendly and speak very good english. More

Exceeded our expectations. Felt at ease from arrival to departure.Staff friendly. attentive and genuine. Room very clean & tastefully furnished. Overall a very welcoming and well furnished hotel. Breakast which was excellent was available at 10 Euros per person . I saw people taking a coffee and croissant in the bar instead so guess this is an option too. Reception staff were very helpful at all times. The service on arrival was super and we had a great room. The location of this hotel is superb - set off the road and with a great garden and courtyard to relax witha drink. Although we were there for only one night it felt like home. Lovely breakfast in the morning. More

We had a great stay at this hotel, very helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, we did chose the superior room with lounge area. It had a lovely view of the garden, room 108. Nearby is an excellent restaurant, Javier and his wife cook the most amazing fish!! Enjoyable stay. More
