We ate here one evening. The menu was good honest Pub fare, well cooked and well presented. Definitely worth calling in if you're looking for a good honest pub style meal.

Stayed for one night over the Easter weekend, and wow, much more than I expected for my money! Will definitely stay again if we are in...

Another first time for me on this trip, visiting a typical british pub, rooms above the bar were lovely, breakfast was basic but very well cooked and served with a friendly smile and a chat about the local area. Sampled a few too many halves of the Doombar but the locals were very entertaining. Exminster is a lovely village and...

Stayed here while doing business at nearby Marsh Barton, was a excellent choice, rooom was spacious and very comfortable, and both breakfast and evening meal were cooked to perfection. A bonus for me was free Wi-Fi in my room allowing me to get on with my work. Have booked again for later in year when down on business again. Exminster...

The new managers have really turned this place around, the food is second to none. Comparing a visit last year to this year there is no comparison. Wednesday steak night was fantastic value for money at 2 for £10 and the steak just melted in the mouth. We also sampled the fish Friday again at 2 for £10, you can't...

What a disappointment . Things are just not the same. Its previous quirkiness with a few oddities were always forgiven due to friendliness and cleanliness, but that wasn't the case this time. Accommodation was dirty . It has changed ownership, and we won't waste our money again. Try the nearby Premier Inn or Travel lodge for good value, clean accommodation....
