We used this hotel for my wife's 30th birthday party as it is over the road to our house. Saying that, we hadn't been in there for over 10 years. We were really happy with the function room and the food and overall thought it represented good value for money. More

Shock and horror never knew this Hotel existed until March this year and what a wonderful place. A superb country house hotel with amazing views. Tremendous place for a short break as ideal for Liverpool , Wirral, Chester etc and great walks on the beach. Surprised by how lovely this place. Staff fantastic, food great and great business venue too! More

I last went to this hotel in January and gave it a wonderful review, however I went yesterday and found it to be disappointing. The waiting on staff in the dining room were not the same and the service was nowhere near as good as last time. A couple of times we had to leave the restaurant to find someone... More

My Association has used this hotel for it's Annual General Meeting and dinner for the last 4 years. During this time the staff led by the General Manager have looked after us extremely well and our members consistently comment positively about the weekend/s we spend there. If anything the staff were even friendlier and more attentive this year than before.... More

Attended our son's wedding at Easter. The Castle is a lovely setting for a wedding. Staff very attentive and polite. The actually arrangements for the wedding were first class. A lot of the guests we spoke to did say however that their rooms, like ours, were a little tired and very dated. I think some money needs to be spend... More

Don't think your in a castle! The hotel rooms are shabby and in need of a good clean, I stayed here over the easter weekend. I thought we would enjoy a peaceful time however there were weddings on all weekend- this was fine but, there was no place for us to go, we felt like we were gate crashing someone... More

We have just spent a night, Thursday 22nd March, at the Leasowe Castle Hotel having travelled from Sheffield for a family funeral the next day. We picked the hotel from the Internet and it proved to be a good choice. It has to be an architectural gem in what seems like so much of the UK a rather run down area.... More

Booked a two night deal on the internet with kgb so a little apprehensive as new to this type of deal. No need for concern. We were welcomed and treated like Royalty! The staff were universally helpful and friendly; the dog was even minded in reception while we enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant. The hotel is being refurbished... More

I was here as part of an away day with work........where do I begin! We arrived in the morning to coffee, tea and orange juice, would have been nice if they'd actually washed the cups and glasses first needless to say I and many colleagues decided to go thirsty. As the day went on I noticed that a number of... More

We are very surprised by this review and sorry that you were unhappy with the items listed. For many years we have looked after regular conference business. Several clients have used Leasowe Castle for over 10 years and so this is a very unusual situation. In order to reassure you - our crockery and glassware is thoroughly washed and polished... More
