Having recently returned from Loch Rannoch following our first every visit to Scotland, we have to say the location of Loch Rannoch is stunning and very relaxing location. It is ideal place to stay if you want to get away from it all and enjoy peace and quiet in a remote location. We stayed in Red Squirrel 3 and found... More

We had a wedding to attend some 20 miles away in Blair Athol and were looking for accommodation for myself, my wife and my elderly mother for the bank holiday weekend. This was proving hard and then we saw this resort via Dial an Exchange. The staff we came into contact with were very friendly and the ladies in reception... More

We exchanged our own Gold Crown timeshare for an equivalent one-bed unit in this resort; we were bitterly disappointed. Having read others' reviews before and since we returned, we concluded that one's experience perhaps depends on where exactly on the resort you are. Don't get us wrong - all these units have the brilliant view across the loch, stretched out... More

Visited Highland Lodge 32 last week with my wife, my mum, and Raph the dog (as my family have been doing for the last 34 years, I've been going for the last 33!). That alone should suggest that we are rather taken with the area and the Highland Club. The stunning view from the lodge of Loch Rannoch and Sheihallion... More

Went with my husband for a short break and loved it. We were staying in apartment 9 and had our own sheltered parking area. The apartment had some recent refurbishments and was absolutely gorgeous. All rooms were well appointed especially the kitchen (even crystal glasses to drink out off). Originally had balcony but has been made into a conservatory. This... More

We cycled right round the loch and it was a beautiful. The views from the lodges are breathtaking, just sit and relax with a lovely glass of wine in the conservatory, or have a lovely relaxing sauna. Love this place !! Stayed in Red Squirrell 2, its the last one on the line, has the best view, NO STEPS, well decorated, fantastically equiped kitchen, crystal glasses to drink out of, and only £20 in electric for 4 days and that included 2 saunas !!! The staff at the office in Kinnloch are lovely, and recommended we ate... More

The Highland Club is situated at the eastern end of Loch Rannoch, about 1/4 mile out of Kinloch Rannoch. The nearest town with shops, bars and fuel is Pitlochry, some 19 miles away and a good 40 minute drive. Having said this that is the only downside to staying at the Highland Club. The views from the lodges are spectacular... More

I stayed at the Loch Rannoch Highland Club with my family (4 adults, a 10 year old and a Jack Russell) for a week at the start of February. Lodge 47 was a fantastic place to stay. It was spacious, clean, well equipped and decorated to a high standard. I would love to have a kitchen at home like the... More

My husband and I stayed in Highland Lodge 43 with friends. Each lodge has an allocated parking space and there are also some spaces for anyone to park. The resort contacted us about 6 weeks before we arrived to check how our party wanted the bedrooms set up. There were two bedrooms with zip and link beds so it's great... More
