This hotel is made up of five different buildings along the small high street. We stayed in the building shown as the lead photograph and is on the edge of the lake with stunning views and a cute garden running to the lakeside. The rooms are spacious and clean with high quality fittings. Breakfast is simply fantastic! To drive to... More

Travelling through on our way to Lake Garda - taking the scenic route and how scenic it is!! The view of the mountains from the hotel's own private garden and beach area is breathtaking. The hotel is on three sites - we stayed in the cheapest option - double room, shared bathroom for around £59 including breakfast. This is a... More

The night staff hung up on me Four times as I tried to order room service coffee for the morning, four times! And at breakfast, after trying to order a cappucino, we overheard the head waitress tell the Chinese waiter "No, never say we have cappuccino, you want to make 40 cappuccinos? Just tell them we don't have cappuccino" Obviously... More

Schloss Hotel is on the lake of Lucern. It is very quite and has a private beach. Meals are available in the Swiss Chalet on the other side of the street. Restaurant has a waiter from Cambodia providing an excellent service and very fluent in French. Food is very good with a large choice. A charming place to spend a... More

What I remember best about this hotel is not the rooms, nor the beds, but the beautiful ambience of the location and the piano bar. The rooms and beds and bathroom was just fine for us. Nothing stood out as intolerable. Our favorite part of this hotel was our evening at the beautiful hotel piano bar across the street. It... More

On our way from Geneva to Schwyz and after a full day of sightseeing, the Schloss Hotel was the perfect option. Registration at reception was efficient and we were given immediately information on all the facilities (heated indoor swimming pool and spa-options) and where to locate these. Inform the hotel when booking if you intend to arrive late, as after... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Way overpriced. Great location on lake with lovely views from garden but not our room,as advertised. Brochure advertises some weirdly decorated suites & you can spend a honeymoon night in a boat on the swimming pool( indoor) !!! Prince Joseph is "last prince of Switzerland"so pleased. They don't do hospitality well. Extremely arrogant. Overpriced restaurant... More

Recently stayed here in a 16 day trip around Germany, Switzerland and France. This was the most expensive place we stayed but one of the worst. This hotel cost us 1,000 euros for 2 nights (including eating in the hotel restaurant both nights). The hotel was comfortable but room was dark. we stayed in the main building with a glimpse... More

Not a four star hotel! Rooms were very noisy - transmitted from the rooms above until 2 am. Bathroom was old and cheap in keeping with a two star hotel. Breakfast minimalist, again similar to a three star hotel. In bad need of renovation. I saw other guest with similar complaints at the reception. More
