We thankfully didn't stay here, we spent a pamper day having lunch and using the spa, but it left an impression! If they turned the hotel from The Shining into a nursing home and then crossed it with One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest - you would have this place!! The hotel could be absolutely stunning and I'd imagine in... More

We booked this hotel because it was central between Costa Brava and Girona. Loved the facade as well as the interior. The rooms were clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Specially loved the high ceilings and the shutter windows. The breakfast was awesome, with a great selection of traditional Spanish as well as continental breakfast. We also did the Spa... More

This hotel is beautiful on the outside, like an old sanatorium/castle. Inside there are some signs of modernisation (tvroom, breakfastroom, bedrooms), but also signs f the old times (bathroom, hallways). we had a great stay (1 night for 49 euro for 2 inc. breakfast). The bedroom was great, nice beds, flatscreen, tea and coffeemaker, bathroom was clean but old (lots... More

What can I say, after travelling in Northern Spain for nearly two weeks from Bilbao to Barcelona looking for a wedding venue I have never had such a surreal and dissapointing experience as I did at this hotel. We have visited over 20 hotels and stayed in a different hotel each night and this was the worst by a long,... More

The hotel is located in a small town with a nice setting along the trees. On the outside the hotel looks quite nice. The staff did not speak very good English and there was no information in English. We were traveling with my son so we needed a 3 bed room. The room we received was large but in need... More

I arrived at this hotel after a long drive from France to stay the evening prior to flying back from Girona. Hotel.com tells you its 3 km from the airport its not its about 10 so I might as well have stayed in Girona City. To be honest the place looks great from the outside. Inside the Receptionists seemed disinterested.... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights last week. It is a bit off the beaten track but within 20/30 minutes off some of the nicer beaches on the Costa Brava. We checked into the hotel, which is an authentic catalan - to say we got a bit of a surprise is an understatement - my wife and I... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on the last part of our holiday, I had a feeling that it was going to be a quite location outside Girona but not this quite!! The hotel it self was nice, in need of some investment but overall the rooms size was good and the pool/Terrance area was nice. Breakfast was not great,... More

We stayed at this hotel from 8th August -15th August 2007 as a base to watch Catalan Dragons vs St Helens rugby league game in Perpignan, France which is about 1hr 30mins away in taxi. The hotel is set about 10 minutes away from Girona airport and in a little village called Caldes de Malavella. Firstly, a few weeks before... More
