After visiting the nuraghe and the museum in Barumini we decided to eat in town and the restaurant that was recommended to us was "Sa Lolla". The restaurant is centrally located and has a very attractive courtyard. Inside, however, is dark and dull. The litghting wasn't quite right, they had energy savings bulbs. Sa Lolla is tucked away in its own sumptious garden off the centre in Barumini, a village close to the Unesco World Heritage 'Nuraghe' Su Nuraxi. There is also a new museum in the village, linked to the site, and it's close to the Giara di Gesturi plateau with its wild horses, so it's worth spending at least one night.... More
