The family Rehak are perfect hosts and their Czech based cooking is truly superb.
Lubomir is wonderfully informative and we saw all that we wished to see, for a first visit to the area which is scenically amongst the best experiences we have ever had.
Everything was excellent.

We have just returned from our second stay at Lampllehen and can not recommend the hotel highly enough. Our two day stay was without doubt met with what can only be described as true Bavarian hospitality. The food was excellent our rooms were of such high quality. The owner was a very nice gentlemen who treated everyone as a VIP. He provided all the key information to make sure that we enjoyed what we wanted to do. The food was very good and reasonably priced. It is a great place to stay (especailly with a dog) and will plan on staying there again.

We sent out emails to several hotels and guesthouses, and sort of picked this one randomly out of the responses. We're very glad we did. It's a quiet location just a few minutes out of town, with a wonderful mountain view, a stream, a river, meadows. Our kids and the dog loved walking down the road to visit the horses...
