If you're looking for a traditional place that is welcoming, comfortable and fantastic value for money this is the place to stay! The rooms are cosy but large and well equiped with everything you could need for a perfect stay. Breakfast was just what we needed and had a variety of things to eat. The guest lounge had drinks, tea... More

This time we tried cross country skiing initially around the valley floor, then real cross country along the many pathways, finally up to the high area at Feldberg. Very impressed with the two valley ski lifts working in the Blizzards!. We like to book the studio apartments... More

Our family of 5 stayed here for our first white Christmas experience and we couldnt have chosen better. We were there for 5 days. Our rooms were simple but lovely. Everythings spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were made very welcome by Phil and Kate which was so special being so far from home. They are both very helpful with... More

We stayed here last winter with our two young kids and had a fantastic time. Phil and Kate are extremely helpful, very friendly and genuinely nice people. We would highly recommend their guesthouse to anyone and will be back soon. More

Rooms are beautifully clean on arrival. Prices are kept down by not having daily servicing in the rooms but you don't miss it. En suites available. Delicious local restaurants fairly priced. Wonderful traditional noodles and beers.Lovely walks from village. More

The title says it all - a very friendly place, in a beautiful valley - great in the summer when we were there - but I can imagine it is spectacular in the winter. The apartment was comfortable and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. The village was really interesting and we really enjoyed the local music... More

Without doubt the best B and B we have stayed at. Set in a wonderland of the southern Black Forest and with its own trout river to the rear it would be hard to find anything better for a romantic break. We loved the mountains the air and the local spa. Indeed the local attractions are too many to mention.... More
