“Lovely old hotel with lots of character with good food.”

Delighted you enjoyed our two top floor twins, we do try to warn guests first about all those low beams but the exposed timbers are so lovely. So glad you enjoyed the castles - the views from Montgomery Castle on a clear day are as you say stunning. Thanks so much for a great review. More

“lovely atmosphere, saved us after car broke down”

We had a breakdown and it was too late to get the car fixed do the AA booked us into the Dragon for B&. It was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We have always wanted to go back on a more planned visit.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay with us at The Dragon. We use local produce wherever we can, including breakfast with eggs from the farm 1/2 a mile up the road and local butcher made sausages. Thanks for the great review. More

What can I say that has not already been said about the superb Dragon Hotel in Montgomery! We also had an excellent break through the Groupon offer. As in the recent reviews, we also stayed on the snowy Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd nights and if work had not beckoned would have enjoyed staying there snug and warm for longer.... More
