Steak pie to die for, great value for money. Would highly recommend. Popped in for lunch, chef catered for our requests to choose from evening meal menu, staff very welcoming and friendly. My friend and i chose the sausage & onion marmalade baguette from lunch menu which was delicious.

Dent is such a wonderful gem to discover and a great base for exploring the dales. Stopped off on the way to the Lakes. Great choice of beers and food. Had a good chat with the Landlord over lunch and made to feel welcome on a very cold day. Don't know why a previous reviewer didn't like the soup, as the person in our party really liked it. The homemade chips went down well too.
