A big thank you to all the staff at Hellaby hall for making my 40th birthday party the most memorable. The staff were very willing, graceful and spot on. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. There was not a single hitch in the whole day. It was perfect. The spa was lovely. Its a pity that two of my... More

Agree with all charliep1979 says in his review. Sat Nav took us to the hotel's goods entrance on an industrial estate (hotel close to M18 junction). Entrance is actually off Bawtry Road. Beautiful old frontage to hotel, but bears no relevance to your stay as most of the rooms are in the newer part - it's like an old motel... More

Check in was efficient and friendly and we were given all information we needed. We were given a room away from delivery side as requested on booking. The room was ok (made me think of premier inn) but was clean. The towel rail didnt work and the bathroom was a bit cool. Room was too warm overnight but there was... More

Good location just off m1. Rooms a bit tired. I hated fluorescent lighting in room. Executive room not worth money. Old hall buildings are lovely. And bar and restaurant very nicely decorated. Breakfast was disappointing they'd run out if croissants at 9.30. And room service was a bit poor. Nice friendly staff though and great gym and pool.

Attended an excellent family wedding which was well organised and catered for.Unfortunately the hotel was otherwise soulless with long and cold corridors. The executive room was minimalist and physically cold.A request for an extra blanket and repair to the nonfunctioning bedside light produced no response.Overall good wedding but poor hotel, certainly not 4*.

Just returned from a 1 night stay at hellaby hall and have to say it was VERY nice. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Food was delicious and good value. We upgraded to a suite and it was beautiful. Used the pool and sauna etc and again it was very good. All in all it was excellent value for... More

Each year, immediately after Christmas, a friend and I take ourselves off for 2 or 3 nights to a hotel and spa. Rotherham was not top of our list of places to visit but we were unable to find a spa and pool near the coast. The room was great - sadly two of the three chairs were stained -... More

Its not bad here but we were given a dirty room......having said that, the staff were very upset by this and put themselves out for us and were very polite and made us coffee and comforts while they rectified the situation. The restaurant is excessively expensive and the food not good.... so miss this part of your stay. The breakfast... More

We were allocated our room on first floor at 15.30 one and a half hours after check-in, there were empty glasses and bottles lying in the corridor, on entering the room it looked as if someone had just got out of the bed. Immediately complained to reception and someone came to room, they said bed wasn't made correctly but duvet... More

Stayed here on a Sunday night using a Groupon voucher,( when we booked direct with the hotel we were told there were no rooms left for the Saturday night although I checked and could have got one booking through Tripadvisor!!) When we got there (after 2pm) the girl on reception had to check if our room had been cleaned suggesting... More
