Me and my wife stayed at this place on our backpack across switzerland... its a decent place not far from the kriens station and quite cheapcompared to the Luzern hotels. Train to Luzern is only 10-15 mins. It is like ny other Ibis hotel but has nice view at the back. More

The Kriens Ibis is in a somewhat awkward location, a bit removed from downtown Luzern, so some mode of transport is required. It's possible to walk to Horw and catch a bus from there. All other hotels in Lucerne being ridiculously overpriced for New Year’s Eve, we booked the Ibis hotel in Kriens. It turned out to be a very nice surprise.
