Totally ignore the website description of this hotel's location of "in a park setting near the city center". It is at least 4 miles from the city center, near a highway intersection & in an industrial zone populated by other hotels. However, having said that, it was an OK place. Turned up - the hotel is being refurbished - sent to room on 3rd floor - this floor needs refurbished...all rooms on this floor are 'smoking' and I had booked a 'non-smoking' room - the room stank of smoke so I left. A modern hotel with small but clean and modern decor. Just off of the motorway system roughly half way from South of France to Paris with nice local town and good on site parking. Staff were helpful and pleasant which is not always the case in France More

Typical Mercure hotel. Rooms recently refurbished but access stairs and corridors could do with some attention. WC in room a little jaded. Excellent pool. Restaurant food a little basic considering the price. More

I headed to this hotel from Bordeaux via A89 and arrived after sunset in the winter day. It is nice location for the stranger like me, because very close to the 50th exit on A20. 1 hour drive for Limoges and Rocamadour, 45 minutes for Thonac Vezere, 30 minutes to Collonge-la-Rouge or Turenne from the hotel.
