Great location great for walking. The pig of lead was very clean the bedroom was spacious with the most comfortable bed. The breakfast was huge and good quality produce was used, 'delicious'. Julie was very welcoming and friendly would stay here again

Spent another great night at the Pig of Lead, wonderful to see Julie and John again, everything just the same as before - perfect - clean, comfortable, welcoming, beautiful place in beautiful location, hot and tasty breakfast, you really cannot ask for more, we will be back - hopefully soon

The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and had a lovely, big comfortable bed. They have a tv and DVD player, with DVDs in the living room which you are able to help yourself to. My wife and I had a lovely week a the Lead Pig in a room with a super king sized bed and ensuit bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the bedroom had an enormous tv and dvd player. A very warm welcome from Julie with tea on arrival. Cosy lounge with lovely coal fire, plenty of books and DVDs to borrow and comfy seats to laze around on. Bedroom spacious and well appointed. I agree with most reviews. However not enough light in lounge to read with comfort & same in bedroom. Nice breakfast (some fruit would have been nice). Lovely hostess, lovely house. For the price. Very good.

An excellent three night stay. Nice clean and comfortable palce. The bed was massive and we slept well. The bathroom was fine, plenty of hot water and soft toilet paper, you can't beat a bit of comfort. Large tv with freeview and a dvd player.
