I was fortunate to spend more than a week at this fabulous place. Its tranquillity, excellent accommodation and efficient, friendly service make it the outstanding choice for anyone visiting the nearby Jain Temples at Ranakpur, taking trips into the Aravali Hills or visiting the fort and reserve at Kumbalgargh. The Maharani Bagh is unlike any other hotel in this area.... More

Maharani Bagh is a very beautiful oasis in the midst of the Aravali hills. It is approx. 90kms. from Udaipur and the road journey is simply breathtaking. A Heritage property of the Rajasthan Tourism, this place was laid out in the 19th century by the Maharani of Jodhpur. This beautiful resort is close to the very famous Ranakpur Jain Temple.... More

While on a trip to Gujarat from Delhi, we decided to take a detour and called up the hotel and found vacancy. We initially decided to stay for one night and then extended it by another night. The rooms were nice and clean and so were the toilets. The staff was very friendly but food was not very great. The... More

After few weeks of backpacking in India, we went to the Maharani hotel for our last week in India. It was the perfect choice. The place is so beautiful ,surrounded with joungle and mango trees, with walking paths and magic sitting courners. The rooms are big and comfortable, designed so well with lovely private balcony. And the food was so... More

We stayed here for one night in the middle of a two-week tour of Rajasthan. The hotel is wonderful - shielded from the road, spread around the beautiful gardens the rooms are in pairs, in bungalows with terraces and a courtyard style garden with chairs and tables to share. The rooms are large and comfortable - for us, the most... More

We stayed here one night while on ur excursion in Rajasthan. The property is huge and just on the border of a forest. While on my morning walk I actually saw some deer, a tortoise, lot of peacocks and a herd of neelguy. There are lot of trees and most had fruits... My daughters managed to pick a few mangoes.... We stopped at the Maharani Bagh for lunch after spending a few hours at the Ranakpur Jain temple. The food and the place as such, were just great. Freshly made makki ki rotis were out of the world. I hope we can go back there again, and maybe stay there for longer. More

Unfortunately, we only spent one night here - it's lovely and peaceful - the pairs of cottages are very comfortable with good touches like a few books and some quaint old photographs of a more glorious past. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. The grounds were lovely - so pleasant to walk around. The only down... More

If I could plan my five week tour through Rajastan once more, I would use this hotel as resting place in the middle of the trip. Most tourist just stay one day to see the Jain temples and then move on to Udaipur as we did. But this hotel is so beautiful; one should stay for at least three nights,... More
