My husband and I recently stayed four nights at this beautiful chateau in the heart of the Languedoc. Built in 1750, the house holds such stories and allure! Our room was wonderful--sitting area with daybed, his/her shower, lovely and comfy bed with embroidered linens. Isabelle is a joy to talk to and is a fabulous cook--be sure to stay in... More

Staying four nights at the Chateau de Villereglan was a highlight of our holiday in this part of France. We had the most beautiful bedroom, bathroom and sitting room in the Chateau. Isabelle looked after us so well we never wanted to leave. Lovely breakfasts and wonderful evening meals with great local wine. There was no need to drive anywhere... More

We stayed 2 nights as part of tour of South France, near golf courses. Chateau very well restored, looks great, breakfast fime, food and wine for evening meal delicious - don't miss out on dining in!. Bedroom not like a hotel bedroom, but very stylish. Isabelle very good hostess. Situation fantastic in little quiet village off beaten track. But within... More

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's the prettiest hotel in the area (and we saw all of the competitors). The rooms were lovely and the service was impeccable. Mischa and Isabelle, the proprietors, have created the quintessential country chateau experience - and their personal attention to us made all the difference. It's also really convenient to... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chateau de Villereglan - a beautiful large house in a typical country village. As a base for touring around this lovely area you have everything you want here when you return at the end of the day to relax. The owners were extremely pleasant and welcoming and were very happy to advise us about trips... More

Mischa & Isabelle Harmeijer were wonderful hosts. The newly renovated castle is charming and beautiful. Breakfast and the COFFEE were great! They prepared the most delicious dinner for us and served it with various regional wines. Had a wonderful time with our hosts. They gave us lots of information about the area. It was refreshing to go to a more... More

We stayed at the Chateu de Villereglan in 2006 and we liked it so much, we decided to return. Mischa and Isabella - the owners of Villereglan - suggested we'd take the Castles tour, and we were very happy we did. We started at Villereglan and stayed, travelling north, at the Chateau Talaud (Provence)and the Chateau de Savilly in Burgundy.... More
