We had the good fortune to visit The Archways again after some 18 months and were very impressed with the improvements Chris and Eileen have made to this delightful B&B. The rooms now match the very best 4* Hotel in terms of design and facilities. The hospitality is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is memorable... More

This B&B is just a wee bit special. We came across it by chance on the Internet looking for an overnight stop near the ferry port. The accommodation is contemporary, comfortable and well appointed but our hosts, Chris and Eileen and the incredible food make the real difference. We booked in for dinner (both stays) and what a meal! Chris... More

Booked here following the reports from Trip Advisor. This is four miles from the ferry so an excellent location for a stay before catching the early 9am ferry. A very warm welcome received from Eileen and Chris. I was given the choice of two rooms following an email from me about the size of the rooms due to a very... More

Can only repeat all the positve comments made already. Would recommend anybody booking an evening meal - ours was delicious as was breakfast even served at 7.00am - in order to catch ferry to Wales. A brilliant place to stay whether you are arriving or leaving Ireland via Rosslare. More

We arrived,in the dark, it was winter; just off the ferry. What a surprize.Thankyou for your superb hospitality. The warm welcome, with a drink beside your cozy fire,a comfy bed in a lovely room, just perfect. But there is more. What a delicious breakfast and the picnic to take with us on our journey the following morning. Chris and Eileen you... More

Emailed before arrival to order meal for 4, we were not disappointed. A lovely warm welcome awaited us and a delicious meal followed, washed down with our own wine. Eileen and Chris were very good hosts and so we booked a night with evening meal for our return journey. The B& B was busy and we shared the breakfast table... More

Very friendly welcome and nicely appointed room. The tassimo coffee machine and home made biscuits are a very nice touch. Two negative points though, the twin room we had was very small and even though the bedrooms are at the back of the house the road noise from lorries was noticeabble (could of closed the window and won't of heard... We stayed here for one night before getting the ferry to the UK to begin a road trip. From the warm welcome we got from Chris right through to our departure I cannot fault The Archways at all. Fresh cakes when we checked, a coffee machine in each room, comfy bed, DVD library and delicious breakfast all on offer at... More

From the warm welcome, to the comfortable, warm rooms to the fantastic Irish breakfast this is a gem of a find for us. We arrived off the Ferry from Wales, found the Archways in the dark very easily We can't speak highly enough of the hospitality and the food. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a... More

We stayed at the Archways on the last night of our trip to Ireland because it was close to the ferry and avoided a very early start. However it was so good that I would use it again as a base for a holiday in the south east of Ireland. The previous reviews say it all. More
