It was a great experience, It has the worlds greatest and expensive desert. Nice hospitality & kind people. Food is excellent they have this room where they have a bed to pool concept. It is very romantic for couples specially Check out the pool at night.

We did the cultural triangle in Sri Lanka finishing off by chilling out at the Fortress. Heavenly. Unforgettable. Worth every penny. Location on beach. Infinity pool the width of the hotel. Wonderful hotel right on the beach, the rooms combine sophistication with a real Sri Lankan atmosphere. Food is excellent with some beautifully prepared Sri Lankan, Thai and European dishes combined with efficient but friendly service. Highly recommended for a beach holiday with a true Sri Lankan feeling.

Just try to get a room here if you want a real 5 star hotel experience. We normally stay in hotels like Kempinski... And even they are not to compare. In front of the hotel sea turtles are swimming and we saw the most beautiful fishes. Would be an excellent hotel to give a wedding.
