Kids loved it because they visited our room (bungalow) just to sleep. Room is enough only for 2 persons or a family with one small kid. We stayed with 2 children and the space was hardly enough for our suitcases. Though the external was very "children friendly" and the food very Greek and delicious.

Having the warm, clear Ionian sea just 50m from the front door was just part of the charm of staying in this friendly, laid back hotel complex. Buffet style breakfast and dinner were generous and varied, and the view from the restaurant terrace - of Northern Greece across the mouth of the Gulf of Corinth - was endlessly absorbing as... More

We stayed at the end of August for our second visit to the Ionian Beach. It is well worth the long transfer to get to this idyllic spot. The individual bungalows are clean, well appointed and a moments walk to the beach. There was plenty of terrace space in the beach bar with comfortable seating and generous cocktails. I spent... Service was v friendly relaxed and helpful. Food good, prices v reasonable. Stunning views of mainland mountains across the water. Good beaches and warmest sea I have swum in and a lovely pool. What more could you want? OK - there's also tennis, bikes for hire, sailing and windsurfing- enough already!

What a delightful first visit to the Ionion Beach hotel for us all - 4 couples and 7 kids ranging from 11 to 21 years old (all boys but 1!).Yes, its a long journey from the airport but the air conditioned courtesy mini bus and our drivers willingness to stop for us to have a leg stretch and a bite... Having been on many sailing club holidays over the years, I found Seafarers refreshingly small and intimate very much like the Sunsail and Mark Warner clubs used to be in their early beginnings. Not only did it represent value for money but also the beach staff went out of their way to get guests onto the water. We also stayed... More

We booked with SeaFarer a 2 week holiday, week 1 spent at the Beach Club on a 5 day Sailing Course (no previous experience) and then followed by 1 week Flotilla on our own boat. The Beach Club is nicely located, own private beach, lots of umbrella's and sun beds, nice pool, decent bars and the staff are very friendly.... More

We stayed here at the end of July 2009. This was our sixth active / sailing holiday having previously travelled with Sunsail, Neilson and Crystal Active. In view of our past experience we knew from the outset that Seafarer had a tough act to follow not only in terms of their choice of location etc. but more importantly in terms... More

I must dispute this gentleman's review on a number of points. On the issue of safety of our beach club sailing operation, I can advise that our operating procedures specify that a manned safety boat must be on the water whenever guests are on the water, whilst a second rescue boat should be floating and ready to go. There is... More

We spent an excellent few days at Ionian Beach, mixing sunbathing and relaxation with a bit of activity on the water, sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. We loved long beach walks admiring the sunset, great seafood lunches at the beachside taverna and some pretty good live music by the pool. Our teenager quickly made friends and spent 90% of his time... More

The Ionian Beach is old school Greece plain and simple. This holiday took me back to my island hopping days post uni when all you wanted was a taverna, a beach, a good book and a few friends. Actually of course the Ionian Beach offers a lot more than that - just as well with two teenagers in tow. They... More
