Based on other reviews, we decided not to stay in Lienz after driving through the Dolomites and we were very glad we made that decision after seeing Lienz and getting to this lovely location. “Loved this tradtional Austrian hotel”

On a big tour of Europe, this was a highlight. After a long day in the car and a nailbiting final few km's on the high alpine road, we got to to dollacher at 8.55pm. we stayed (2 adults 2 kids) 6 nights in July, a 'family room' which actually was two bedrooms and bathroom in the roof conversion. large size rooms but with slanting ceilings, (so us tall guys must watch their head) new decoration and fittings, esp. bathroom which had a bath with shower head and a separate shower cabinet, heated towel rail,...
