Must have been renovated in 1957. Small room with no power oultets>had to unplug the TV from an extention cord laying on the floor. Dirty ceiling lite fixture, with a 40 Watt bulb. Dark, dirty and substandard facility. Telephone booth sized shower. Undersized old wool drape to keep out the light half covering the window. Reminded us of a military... More

When we first arrived it looked great. The rooms were spacious and our three bedroom had two bathrooms and a toilet. However this hotel fell apart on all the details. Recently we stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Neuwirt in Axams, Innsbruck. I have stayed in a gasthof in Austria before, and realising this is actually a hotel not a gasthof, I wasn't expecting to get the same "family" feel at Hotel Neuwirt.
