We booked this hotel through booking.com and got a great deal. We paid around 50AUD per night with breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. The best part was the Internet connection..which was good for my husband. Bathroom was clean with hot-cold water in the shower. Ac unit was good, brand new I guess. Had a talk with the owner... More

The hotel was ok; close to the beach and the room was clean with good air conditioning. BUT the staff isn't friendly, even if you say hi to them they don't necessarily even answer back, just look at you from head to toe and with a blank stare in their face. Apparently they don't really care about customer service or... More

Hello and thankyou for your time for the review. We are glad that you liked EVERYTHING at the hotel. Except for the staff. You are talking about the cleaning lady. Please note that some of the cleaning ladies does not speak english at all. So you know their situation. The receptionist speaks ok english and is very friendly. We have... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend for two nights, I have listed reasons below why you should not stay here. - Staff very unhelpful/rude really don't care. - AC so noisy keeps you awake. - Breakfast is rubbish, don't bother. - Shower was broken. - No water pressure. If I was you I would stay at the Beach inn, Kata 10... More

The rooms are ckean & a good size, with decent sized balcony, fridge, decent bathroom & comfy bed. My A/C wasn't great but eventually cooled the room. Never tried the free breakfast, despite staying for 4 nights The hotel is situated on a very busy & noisy linking road, just off the main beach road, I had room at the... More

We had read the reviews on this guest house and overall have not been too disappointed. For what you pay the rooms are large and kept very clean. We got a quieter room at the back on the top floor and although it overlooks an area used just twice weekly for a market along with another hotel it was certainly... More

I checked in on New Year's Day, stayed 4 nights. Some pluses: good location, clean, strong aircon, spacious room. Some minuses: Shower water fluctuated from Full to Off every couple minutes. No lift and we are on the 4th floor (ok for us). I stayed here because it was peak season and the other hotels were very expensive during this... More

I stayed here recently for two weeks and generally found the hotel to be clean, well kept with nice large and comfy king size beds. The only downside was the stairs having stayed on the fourth floor, however, this wasn't a problem for me, it might be for the elderly or for families with very young children. The air con... More

Stayed in this hotel for two weeks in November 2012. Spacious and clean room with private balcony, air conditioner (a little bit noisy), TV, refrigirator and safe box. Toilet and shower work well. The Kata beach is approx. 300 m from the hotel. Modest breakfast and fast WiFi internet included in price. Staff is friendly and they clean rooms every... More
