Airport pickup was excellent. It was a reasonable drive to the hotel about 45 minutes but relaxing in the air conditioned car. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with a fruit juice and cold towel. Taken shortly to our room, which was stunning, like 5* luxury, a four poster king size bed, personal bar & enormous bathroom were amazing. The... More

Boomerang Village is the perfect place for a relaxing few days, week, or longer stay near Phuket's quiet Kata Beach. Boomerang is quiet, located up a rather steep hill from the main drag in Kata. The rooms are spacious, staff helpful and polite, and the food is absolutely fantastic. I'll restate that: the food is incredibly good. Surprisingly enough, this... More

i stayed here last week with my boyfriend. BVR is a great place to stay if you're looking for a place that is comfortable, quiet and peaceful to relax. location - the hill to walk up and down is quite steep. we only did it once. there were some dogs at the bottom of the hill. we took the free... Stayed here in March 2012, and it is a lovely place. Boomerang is high up a hill and is about a half an hour walk from Kata Beach. In my opinion this is a huge plus as Kata Beach was not really to our taste and at Boomerang you feel isolated and away from the crowds. Boomerang itself is beautiful,... More

We are a family with two primary school age kids. Great staff, lovely pool, view supurb, restaurant very good, beautiful gardens. Yes hill is steep (a bit hair-raising on our motorscooters!). This was my favourite of the three accomodations we stayed in Phuket. Rooms are small but immaculate and nicely decorated. More

We have chosen this hotel based on the mostly fabulous reviews on this site and were disappointed. It is a small resort built on the top of a steep hill. Positive aspects: Clean garden suites Beautiful garden Free WiFi Staff mostly attentive and friendly (with the exception of a young man at the reception) Negative aspects The hotel is a... More

Thank you for your input. We would like to make a few comments on it, just to put the record straight. One of the strong points of our resort is that is is situated in a quiet place. To be quiet you need to be a bit far away from the noisy centers. In the other hand, conscious that our... More

I stayed for a couple of nights in august 2009, and booked a cheap cottage a bit of the original resort. Breakfast / swimming pool was a bit of a walk back to the resort because of the hill. The cottage was clean, basic and not far from the beach. I can't see them anymore on their website now. The... More

We stayed in Boomerang Village from 28 Dec 2011- to 2 Jan 2012. My family of 2 adults and 4 children booked 2 connecting rooms. From our balcony, we had the most beautiful view of Kata Beach. This was a plus point because on New year's eve, we were fortunate enough to have a fantastic panoramic view of Kata Beach... More

Thank You for your comment. We are happy you had a pleasant stay with us. A thank you from our staff as well, they always try their very best to be helpful with our guests, but not always get the appreciation they deserve. We hope to have you and your children back in our beautiful Kata Beach soon. More

Thank you for your comment. Phuket as one of the main travel destinations of Thailand is probably one of the quieter islands, but we try our best to be one of the quieter and most peaceful places in the island. You make us feel like our efforts are successful and we really appreciate it. Thank You. More

I am not sure what all of the fuss is about. This place isn't terrible, but it is not all that nice either. Pros: Good location, we didn't mind the hill. Nice pool. The grounds were quite nice. The shuttle and cab servie was quite good. Cons: The bathrooms were terrible and small. The shower was simply a spout on... More
