Me and my husband went to this resort. in that time, we decided to stay 1 nite at Raya Resort. The location was fantastic, that is for sure, no doubt. Beach was such a paradise. I can even swim alone as if it my private billion $ island. But lets talk bout this resort. So, we checked in, the staff... More

I have stayed at the bungalow raya resort three times now and the staff and management are always so welcoming and friendly it feels as though we are staying with old friends. The island is very busy around the main beach area, between 9am and about 3pm, when the day trippers abound, but once they leave, the island takes on... More

Hello )) The location is amazing. Best beach I've ever seen. You can swim here independent of tides, you just have to walk 5m longer on that perfect sand, thats all. Snorkel, no, excellent snorkel and free diving - right on the beach or in any other bay on the island. However be prepared that from 11am till 3:15pm this... More

POOR ON ALL LEVELS: Service/food/restaurant/bungalows and managment! Unfriendly staff? Yes, it happens in Thailand too. I am traveling since 2 months in Thailand and I must rate this Resort as the unfriendliest place which I experienced. Not even the food was ok. I was intending to stay long term but I decided to leave that island soons as possible. During... More

Rays island is a beautiful place..... Although the flocks of chinese day trippers ruin somewhat of a perfect location that all ends at 16:00 when the speed boats leave.... That is also when the sun eases to let you bathe without roasting and enjoy the crystal beaches...... The bungalows have a lot of character, there little bamboo huts facing the... More

I enticed three friends to Koh Raya on the promise that hundreds of day trippers would come and go, leaving us feeling smug that we were staying for a few nights. None of us prone to feeling smug under any circumstances, but we sure were glad to stay for sunset - sitting at the bamboo bar on the beach as... More

We stayed five days at Bungalow Raya Resort on Koh Racha Yai, and loved it. The bungalows are small - just one room with a bathroom, and a deck out front. The room had a double bed (hard) with a mosquito net, and a single bed which we dragged out on to the deck and used as a lounge. The... More

We moved here from Raya Father Resort, which we did not like because that place was in the middle of the island and it was hot with no breeze. Bungalow Raya Resort has 16 bungalows, all on rocky cliffs overlooking the ocean, with a wonderful ocean breeze. The bungalows are old, but charming in their own way - wood bungalows,... More
