I can't praise enough the wonderful standard of this hotel and adjoining restaurant, with its own brewery! A beautiful monastery in the heart of Bavaria. The hotel staff and restaurant personel of the highest standards! A must for visitors in Bavaria, seeking a peaceful and pleasant experience!

We've stayed several times at Hotel Irseer Klosterbrau, last time in august 2012. The place is unique and extraordinaire in both buildings and ambiance, and the menu is absolute top class! Try the roasted duck! The only thing that can be pointed out to be on the negative side is the attitude of some of the waitresses. Never a smile,... More

We enjoyed very much staying at the Irseer Klosterbraeu hotel. The hotel part of a complex that had been a monastery. It also has its own brewery. We stayed three days in mid-August, in the middle of a heat wave. The rooms were thankfully cool as a result of the thick walls. Our room was very well fitted out ,... More

Excellent structure and a beautifully refurbished. BUT our maid (serving tables outside) was extremely RUDE AND NASTY, she did not speak a word of English and she did not offer us an English menu, then in spite of the wonderful evening we had to move inside looking forward a new maid. All instructions for the SPA and the life in... More

If you want a peaceful stop. this is it. It is rustic, clean and historic. The food in the restaurant is typical and representiative of the area. Their church is nice to visit. The parking and internet are free! Try their beer and breakfast. 2 things not to miss. So many room choices. The sauna is nice to relax. The... More

The hotel is a superbly renovated monastery with an own brewery. The rooms are very spacious, the bathrooms are beautifull and you have fully comfy rooms in an old and very well maintained building. The little spa is just gorgeous, the restaurant beautifull and the local food is good (and the portions very generous). The ratio qulity/price is excellent. The... More

We chose this hotel because I was doing a quality management course at the education centre. It certainly exceeded our expectations. The room was one of the most stylish we have stayed in anywhere in Germany - certainly there were single mattresses on the bed but that's Germany for you: only the big international hotels have full double mattresses. The... More

We were there for two nights, the hotel staff was really kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything we need. Very comfy bed (even with the fact that it was two single mattresses on two single beds pushed together) its a beautiful village middle of nowhere and we loved our stay.

This is certainly something different, a hotel surrounded by a monastry that has a brewery. The rooms are basic with no extras like soap or shampoo and I believe most of the bed are singles. There are no other amenities like sauna or gym but there is a wonderful bar/retaurant with all the home brews where you could easily spend... More
