This is a great B&B; a wonderful setting, fabulous breakfast and of course Mary...so caring and considerate you'll think you found a lost Auntie! We found it perfect for our needs, spacious, very clean and comfortable with adequate parking. I stayed with my Mum and two children and felt we got very good value.

My wife and son and I spent St. Patrick's Day week at the Sandy Hills B&B. We loved it. Each day we would walk to the Rush/Lusk DART station and took the train into Dublin. Mary Buckley sometimes kindly drove us to the station when we were a bit tired. The rooms were large, so clean and nice. The breakfasts... More

I stayed in Sandy Hills B&B for a week and it was just wonderful. Mary who runs the B&B all by herself is very welcoming and kind. Her breakfast is "just so nice" !!!! The room are huge and very clean. No noise in the B&B and outside, one of the best part to be outside the city. Such a... More

While in Dublin for a week last week we stayed in three hotels prior to making it to Marys for the last three days of our trip. I can honestly say out of the three hotels we stayed in (two of them 4 star) Sandyhills was by far the best one we stayed in. Clean, quiet, comfortable, great food and... More

The B&B is your average Irish b&b, very cold in the evenings , probably piggy backing on its proximity to Dublin Airport, the wooden floors in 1st floor bedrooms very noisy & dusty in places. Our big problem was the unbearable landlady who insisted on giving us information we did not need or want & telling us of her circle... More

Sandy Hills is a very welcoming and lovely B&B. Mary was so helpful in emailing with me on planning my trip to visit the country, full of great advice and guidance on what to see, what to bring, and other quality B&Bs to stay at. My party wished we could have simply taken Mary's B&B with us as we traveled... More

I had the pleasure to stay at Sandy Hills with Mary's fantastic hospitality for a total of 5 weeks. The first thing I noticed is that the place is spotless, and as a result of course she requests a bit of courtesy towards her property. Always on hand to chat and give advice, Mary is a star, ironing and washing... More

Mary is the most beautiful person I met in Ireland. I was in Rush last year for only one night. Mary didn't have any rooms available but I was so desperate she offered me her son's room. I was with her the entire afternoon, listening to her stories and watching her work in the B&B. She prepared amazing breakfasts according... More

I referred in another review to the persona formerly referred to in Irish as the 'bean a' tí' or 'the woman of the house' to describe the owner of lodgings of another era. I used the expression as part of an accolade to the Guest House that I had stayed at in Westport. Here, three months later, I am a... More

Mary was the kindest, most gracious host I had at any Hostel or B&B I stayed at in Ireland. The rooms were very large and the service in general spectacular. Breakfast was fantastic and when I return to Ireland I will most certainly plan a Trip to this area specifically to stay at Sandy Hills again. Simply Fantastic
