We arrived on sat 26th May. I was ignored at check-in by the front of house manager who proceeded to check in a man who had arrived after me. We were not advised that our room was directly above the bar, not were we told there was music on that night, not good service! We paid for a superior room... More

This is our 7th time staying at the lodge and it has always been excellent ,we have tried other hotels in Donegal but this surpasses them all,for quality, food, décor, atmosphere and especially value for money .We have 3 kids 6-13yrs and they love it here ,this year they really enjoyed the kids play area off bar/dining area with computer games, toys... I stayed at this hotel for three nights with my family following a cycle from Mizen Head to Malin Head. After the cycle I was wrecked and really enjoyed the spacious family room and the fact that the bathroom had a bath. I found the staff to be particularly friendly and helpful throughout our stay and I enjoyed the swimming... More

Stayed here two nights as couple, walking and playing golf. Superb weather helped, as views from our Room 102 are superb, of beach and Atlantic, but all staff here were superb - friendly, helpful, concerned. Food quality and choice good, and Quiz night Thursday was a hoot! Will definitely go back, top quality everything. More

This was our 2nd stay in the Ballyliffin Lodge hotel and I must say I am terribly disappointed in the deterioration of the hotel. There is no atmosphere in this hotel watsoever - music in the bar was great but it's not laid out for anybody to actually get a seat to enjoy it. The dining room lacks any kind... More

Dear Guest, I am sorry to hear your recent stay with us was not up to the usual high standards we have here at the Ballyliffin Lodge. These issues are surprising as we have no record of these issues you have mentioned, customer care is extremely important to us and we do our best to ensure each and every one... More

We have just returned from The Ballyliffin Lodge after getting married there and I can honestly say this hotel is absolutely brilliant in every way. The hotel is in a fabulous location, the views from the hotel are beautiful. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food we had for wedding reception was... More

This hotel is in a great setting with a lovely view. The new bar food menu is great value. However it is let down by the noise in the bar. Have been there on several occasions but even there is only a small crowd in the bar it is noisy. All sounds seems to reverberate around the bar. It is... More

I stayed here recently for a short break wth my husband and two young kids. It was really lovely from begining to end..a lovely small, friendly hotel. The staff were mostly very helpful and pleasant..The receptionist was a little abrupt which was the only negative. We didn't realise that check -in wasn't until three and arrived a little early.(half one)... More
