Great view of the sea in the distance, but over looking the car park. The beach is just a short walk away and there is a kids park beside the beach. Great swimming... More

Attended a wedding in this hotel. All aspects of the function were geared to making sure the bars did a great trade !! The meal itself was very good but was spoiled by poorly defrosted scrimps and tasteless soup. The main course of seabass was of a very high quality and dessert was nicely presented. Overall a good meal that... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback, i am sorry to hear some aspects of your meal were not up to the usual high standards we have here at the Ballyliffin Lodge. We had fantastic feedback from this wedding so it is dissapointing that your experience was not the same. I have passed on your feedback to the rest of... More

We travelled to this hotel as a group of 16 golfers. Organising a trip for a group is sometimes a worry because one wants to be sure everyone is happy. We had a great time and everyone in the group was very happy with the hotel. The food, facilities and rooms were excellent. In particular the staff are excellent, everyone... More

We spent a weekend in this hotel and were very, very reluctant to leave. We ended up arriving a day early because our accommodation for the first night of our trip had fallen through. They couldn't do enough for us despite the inconvenience we were causing them. The staff was very friendly and courteous without being overbearing, even offering us... More

We could only stay for one night at the Ballyliffin Lodge but wished we had time to extend our stay and will certainly return for a longer visit. Evening meal was excellent and good selection at breakfast - both hot and cold. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Bedroom was superior room with views over Pollan Bay from where some...
