The rooms are definitively worn out and need refurbishment. However, the host is very friendly and the price is OK. A place to stay visiting Clonmacnoise. An brilliant advice was having supper at the local village taverne (Killeens) - a typical Irish Pub - a wonderful place (5 min walking distance) for a family.

Very nice room with a double bed and a in-room shower was great after spending a few weeks aboard a cruiseship with a small shower and bathtub. For the two days there, had a great time exploring the countryside and visting the friendly locals.
