Friendly staff, room not massive, but the en-suite was well finished. Comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. We paid £100 for two nights B&B. The breakfast was reasonable, although service window is quite short (8-9). The rooms are above a pub & function room, and so there is some noise until closing time, but this didn't bother us.

The Poldark Inn is basically a pub venue with rooms. The bedrooms are spacious and the ensuites are brand new and very modern. Stayed end of January, unfortunately due to bereavement, so occasion could have been better. Thank you for letting us have a Chalet, as the main part was being refurbished. They are really comfortable for a holiday stay, and the fully fitted kitchen was a real surprise, including the washing machine. Really self contained. I never appreciated the views from outside... NEW BATHROOMS!! This was my second visit to the Poldark Inn and I was very pleased to see that the en-suite bathrooms have been tastefully upgraded over the Winter to include showers and a stylish modern suite. It still remains excellent value for this part of Cornwall and for sure I will be back again in the Summer!!
