Having read the review I was expecting quality food, but was disappointed. Visited Saturday lunchtime. The food we received was very ordinary. Decor looks run down and in need of a thorough clean. Won't be rushing back, which is a shame as the village setting is beautiful.

Second visit and it just gets better. The staff, food, rooms and location are fantastic. A lovely meal followed by a few drinks and a lovely nights sleep.
