My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and it was incredible! Our room was super-clean and the bathroom was amazing. The interiors are utterly beautiful as were the grounds. Even though the beach was down the road we had one day relaxing in the garden reading our books (and the coffee table books that belong to the guest... More

We stayed at the Secret in the bungalow for 10 days. We really enjoyed every minute of it. At the bungalow you have a lot of privacy it is almost at staying at your own private house. The incl. Breakfast was everyday delicious and different. The optineel diner we have taken almost ever evening, and this is also really dilicious... More

What a lovely little oasis. I don't like to rave too much as it would be nice to keep this place a secret, but this would be a complete disservice to the owners. Great location, up a lane way but only 2 minutes walk to the beach. Away from the main road and noise. Rooms are excellent. Very modern, well... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in the bungalow. We tried to reserve a regular room but they were booked so we opted for the bungalow instead. We're so glad we did! The bungalow is separate from the rest of the property and has a feeling of seclusion and privacy. We ate breakfast and dinner there, and other than the... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review for our guesthouse. We did not realise that you were without water for part of your stay and are extremely sorry and embarressed about this. The bungalow does have a stock tank which we regularly fill for periods when water does not come from the public supply but... More

An excellent small guesthouse in a secluded location accessed by a quiet lane. We stayed two nights in a room with two double beds, a split system Air conditioner, a modern bathroom, shared living spaces in and outdoors. Everything was in top condition and the owners are delightful and helpful people. The two dinners we had there were simple, in-expensive,... More

We throughly enjoyed a 3 night stay at Secret in March 2013. The room was spotlessly clean with air conditioning and permanent mosquito net surrounding a large double bed. There is a spacious and excellent bathroom. There was a small area outside with clothes line for dealing with minor laundry. A particularly nice personal touch was that each day, following... More

A beautiful guesthouse down a quiet lane from Mirissa beach. We had an AC room for one night, for $50 with breakfast. The room was beautifully presented on our arrival and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. It was actually the only guesthouse we stayed in where all the fixtures and fittings were actually fitted correctly! The hosts and... More

We stayed in the bungalow for two nights. The bungalow is separated from the main building and has its own cooking facilities, amazing bathroom and terrace. It gives you great privacy! Sri Lankan curries prepared by the owners are great. Owners can arrange whale watching trips (quite bumpy). Free wifi in the main building. Great massages are offered as well!... More

We stayed here in November, two adults and two children aged 2 and 4. This place is absolutely fantastic, by far the best place we stayed at during our month in Sri Lanka! The rooms are lovely decorated, spacious and super clean, the garden is stunning and very child friendly and safe. We felt right at home and the owners... More

We ended our month long trip in Sri Lanka with 5 days of beach and chill in Mirissa. We chose to stay in The Secret Guesthouse and Secret Root Spa as it came highly recommended by friends.
