The best part of the holiday park is that you can walk (or bike) right in to the Naseby Forest and up to the swimming dam from the park. It is a really perfect place to stay. We stayed in one of the two old miner's cabins and it was large and comfortable for a couple, and would be fine... More

Facilities were great, stayed two nights group of 16. Camp owner wasnt a natural at hosting, boarding on rude with each interaction, the whole group felt the same way. The camp itself is in a great location and would recommend purely for that.

Have enjoyed staying here,found owners friendly and very helpful.We have stayed several times with our young daughter and dog and have thoroughly enjoyed the park and the great surroundings.

This was our first time at Larchview and the setting was lovely. The camp facilities were cleaned to a very high standard. With regards to dogs (the other review) we didn't have a dog but there were lots of other dogs at the camp ground so maybe the CM had a change of heart. while we enjoyed the location for... More

This looked to be quite a nice tourist camp, however shortly after we arrived and had unpacked our car, the 'camp manager's' children came over to pat our 'very friendly dog' who was sitting on my wifes knee. Reviews are always welcome, bad or good. Children and Dogs are welcome at the park with prior arrangement. Nestled on the edge of the Black Forest it make it the ideal destination for mountain biking, swimming, curling and enjoying the winter sports Naseby is world famous for. Or why not take a rest day from cycling the rail trail and come and enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Naseby provides.Since taking over the holiday Park 7 years ago we have undertaken extensive, environmentally friendly renovations while still keeping the beauty and the history of The Park intact. The majority of our hot water is now heated by solar energy and our main amenity building has been refurbished and is now a modern warm kitchen and relaxing area heated by a recessed log burner to keep you warm on those chilly Naseby evenings.Our laundry area is an enclosed room with modern energy efficient washers and dryers. For the environmentally conscious amongst us we are happy to supply you with pegs so you can dry your laundry in the Central Otago fresh air.We also provide Wi-Fi internet access (charge) with a local IT expert on hand to help with any problems you may experience with connectivity.Our recently built Children playground is a mixture of fun and friendship and a central part of our Park with something for children old and young.There is only one way to truly travel around the Naseby Township and that is by bike. We hire adult mountain bikes for a half or full day, we also have an infant carrier and a tag along bike.We have a selection of accommodation available which include powered and unpowered sites, cabins (recently renovated) chalets and houses and original Miner's cottages (built in 1893) our houses and cottages all come with a log burner and a good supply of firewood.
