If you enjoy staying in cabins than you will find Crow's Nest an excellent option in the Denali area. The lodging is in very basic one-room cabins, clean but small and dark. I found it hard to get warm, but it was snowing out (in August!). I liked the location, an easy walk down to "glitter gulch", but secluded and... More

Everyone knows Alaska is not cheap. I got a great rate here and the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. The accomodations were very comfortable and clean. We loved it. More

These are cabins, Period. They are basic but comfortable. We had absolutely no problems with the heat. The floor did slant, so you might be in luck if you're a mountain goat. Seriously though, it didn't bother us. The hot tub was nice. What makes the Crow's Nest stand apart is the amazing service we got from the staff. The... More

We absolutely hated this place. The room is built on a hill so it slants downward. Everytime you walk you lean over. I thought I would fall out of the crappy shower. Beware if you are drinking (which we weren't), you will fall over. The beds were so uncomfortable and also on a hill. Everything is old in the room... More

My husband and I stayed here on 12 & 13th of August, 2011, while visiting Denali National Park. I agree with another review that the staff is very nice and helpful. However, for the price was extremely disappointed. Pros: Quiet location, nice staff, clean accommodations, close to Denali Park Cons: challenging, limited parking (strongly disagree with other review), rusty water... More

My wife and I were travelling to the back country of Denali, but we wanted some time around the park entrance, so we stayed two nights at the Crow's Nest. This place was a real find: rustic without being too rustic, great views, convenient location and some of the most accommodating staff members to be found anywhere. We arrived early... More

We (two couples and a senior) stayed here for two nights and we would be happy to return again. I would not recommend for a long stay if you aren't planning on being out and about most of the time (as noted by some reviewers there is no self catering facilities here). The rooms are the size of a hotel... More

This attempt at a cabin hotel is a failure. No service. The WiFi is not working. The Restaurant is second class. The hot tub is great, but not open during any reasonable hours due to " proximity to other cabins". Not open in the morning or evening, when people want to use it. A real bust. I would not return... the crows nest was one of our favorite stays in alaska! its nestled above the denali "base camp" just a short walk down the hill from the restaurants + shops -- loved the location, the view, the quiet beauty of the property. the cabins arent as small as some reviewrs mentioned, the beds are small (full? def not queen) but... The location is, of course, stunning, which in a sense compensates for many of the deficiencies of the accommodation. However, the facilities can politely be described as rustic, for prices that are decidedly at the opposite end of the scale. I stayed for 5 days, unlike the vast majority of travelers who come and go in 1 or 2, and... More
