We were traveling by RV and stayed for 4 nights at the campground. This camground was nicer than most private campgrounds. The sites are large and offer a picnic table, fire ring and a flat area for your tent. The sites were private and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean and well maintained and they were situated throughout the... More

We had made reservations for 2 nights toward the end of 10 days with a rental RV. We got into the area a day earlier than expected. We stopped by hoping that we could just add another day. It wasn't a problem. We could have stayed there a whole week and still not have been bored. The sites are bigger... More

Reservations for the site AND FOR THE PARK SHUTTLES, IN ADVANCE, are a must. You cannot drive past mile 15 on the park road, which is 93 miles long, so you MUST have at least a shuttle ticket to see the best part of the park. (I overheard visitors speaking to staff; and they just found out, on arriving at... More

Quiet, private, large sites. Close to everything. There are hot pay showers and free wi-fi (plus outlets to plug in to) at the mercantile building. We stayed one night at a commercial campground outside the park - what a mistake! If we had known about the showers and wi-fi here we would have come straight to Riley Creek. More

Great campground to pitch a tent, have a campfire and roast marshmallows. We dont do much camping, but I'm glad we did. Recommend you pick a site that is close to one of the bathrooms with running water and flush toilets. The riley creek store has just about everything you need but be prepared to pay top prices. Would definitely... More

Check-in at the WAC. Riley Creek is a great campground and makes a first and last night's staging ground for more camping in the deep interior of Denali National Park. The campground is quite quiet except for cars in the vehicle area and the freight trains that goes by. Designated tent pad is excellent compacted gravel. It drains well. Find... More

Camped here 2 nights. The pitches are nice and spacious if you have a tent. There is a fire ring and a picnic bench. Plenty of trees around to sling up a tarp if it rains. A moose wandered through the camp with a calf which was lovely. The mercantile is well stocked but the staff were pretty disorganised and... More
