My family and I stayed at The Perch this last summer, and it was great. The cabins were incredibly affordable for the area, and some of our rooms had 3 beds which was perfect for my family. We ate dinner at The Perch our first night there, and it was so good that we ate there every night of our... More

This last summer, my wife and I stayed at Denali Perch Resort and it was great! Its 12 miles south of south of the parks entrance, which is awesome because it it gets you away from the big hotels and the touristy area. They have a fine dining restaurant and a pizza pub on the property, so if you're looking... More

The Perch Resort is made up of a number of cabins, some of which feature private bathrooms. The cabins are small, but the one I stayed in (don't remember the number but it had a private bathroom) could have easily accomodated two. The rooms were cosy, comfortable and relatively clean. However, some of the lights did not work (on closer... More

I stayed here with my husband and 2 children, ages 6 and 1, in cabin #17 for 3 nights. Overall the atmosphere of the place was fabulously laid back, especially at the pizza pub where my children ran around and were entertained and entertaining to staff and other patrons, most of whom seemed to be local. Pizza was really good.... More

My family was lucky enough to win a Denali Road Lottery pass. We decided to stay in a cabin, instead of camping in the park. The Perch Resort was absolutely perfect for us. We reserved cabin #19 and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food in the both at both restaurants was wonderful. We... More

You're getting what you pay for. The rooms are basic but comfortable & clean. Great location as a home-base for trips into Denali NP. More

We loved staying here. The cabin rates were the best around this area. The food was good at both the Perch Restaurant and the Panorama pub. Eric, our waiter for breakfast at the Perch restaurant was just perfect. More

This place could be comfortable and nice but the two brothers running the place are going to run it in the ground. Don't stay in cabins 7,8, 9, or 10. The cabins are supposed to have private showers but there is no hot water and the problem was not fixed in the 3 nights that we were there. The cabins... More

I gave The Perch a 4/Very Good based on my expectations. It is very basic, but close to Denali and cheap! That is what I was looking for. Bathroom-Pretty clean. Dingy but no obvious filth. Decor-Poster on the wall and country quilts.... Nothing great. Beds-Comfortable and clean. The bed in the loft was up a steep flight of stairs. Atmosphere-Nice... More

This small rustic resort has very basic cabins at a great price value. they do have private baths, sleeping for up-to 4 and free wifi. They have two fantastic restaurants, the Perch, an upscale casual restaurant with wonderful, fresh, from scratch food and a great view and Panorama Pizza. Nice relaxed pizza/sandwich bar with great music, some live bluegrass/folk acoustic... More
